My name is Niki Hardacre, the founder and principal counsellor at Be-At-Ease Counselling, Bristol.
I am a registered member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP, which means my practice meets the standard for a competent independent practitioner and bound by its Ethical Framework for good practice.
My approach is “Integrative Relational”, I bet you’re wondering what this means! It means that my main therapeutic approach is person-centred therapy but believe that we are all unique individuals so therefore feel every session should be in accordance to your specific needs, perceptions, emotions, thoughts and thinking style.
Incorporating other integrate theoretical models and counselling techniques from a variety of orientations to work in a way that’s right for you and meets your needs.
As a therapist, I aim to provide a professional and supportive experience and take pride and care in providing clients with a confidential, non-judgemental and safe place to allow my clients the time and freedom to explore themselves.
I undertake long-term work as well as short-term, goal-oriented work with my background including working within the NHS. Both long and short term work often leads to those I see taking decisions and making changes in their lives.
